I love the summer. You wouldn't think traveling shows were very popular anymore, but come summertime, people come out in droves. They need the entertainment to distract them from the heat, and we at the Cirque happily provide.

What is it they say – come one, come all? Not that it's really my job to advertise, but a little publicity never hurt. The monsters magicians are on the move.

Weird to be back, but nice too. I forgot that magic makes people smile. Good thing it's just like riding a bike. Just like Dexter's little hobby. Asshole.

So this is what it's like to get a higher education. Let's see how long it takes the professors to realize I'm too old to be a sophomore.

Friends, Romans, etc. I've got a question for you. Is there anybody out there who's not freaking out? Anyone at all? Because I seem to be in the minority here. As much as I enjoyed Dex's dulcet tones narrating my life, can't really say I miss the constant urge to kill people. But maybe that's just me. I'm an oddball, I know this.

It was a little strange watching the new episode without him, though. Like I was spying. Because it turns out he's not the only one a little in love with Lumen. I think I am, too. Weird. Julia Stiles isn't even pretty.
